Santorini, Greece

We were shuttled to our hotel after another long ferry ride, only to get on a bus to catch  the famous sunset in Oia. We climbed the streets up to the perfect spot and enjoyed the beauty.  We found a close dinner spot, over looking the horizon, where we enjoyed a great meal. Since the day had already been long and hot, we decided to get some beers and head back to the hotel to enjoy the pool.  We lasted a couple hours longer, but hit the hay pretty early.  In the morning (about 11:00am) we got up and ready to go wine tasting.  Before venturing out, we grabbed a gyro to prep our stomachs.  We got to the winery and were able to enjoy 12 different tastings along with some olives and cheese.  We stayed for a couple of hours, periodically enjoying the iPod music of a Russian tourist. As he walked around, we would get ear fulls of his  blasting Russian music over the winery's background music-pretty funny! We were a bit unsure as to what to do on the beautiful island if you weren't honeymooning, so as we tasted we asked a few couples for some suggestions.  We decided to head back to town to take the cable car down to the old center of town.  We were able to snap some pictures and walked around a little bit.  We were fortunate enough to find a shop owner handing out dinner suggestions, so we made reservations and went to enjoy a cocktail before dinner.  We ate dinner, watched another beautiful sunset and called it a night.  The next morning we headed for our ferry to Athens for the last night of our trip.
