Tripolis, Greece

We woke up at 4:30am knowing we had to be ready at 6am for our driver to take us to the airport and to endure the 400 stairs uphill. Thank God for for our driver Vincenzo, it was a smooth ride all of the way to Naples airport.  We arrived just in time(3hours early) only to wait two additional hours for some sort of delay. Getting through security was rough, it's as if people are in a race to get anywhere and they stand so close behind you in line,  you can feel their hot breath against your neck. Jillian set off an alarm with her backpack as we were corralled into a waiting area to get on the plane. Once we arrived at the Athens airport we had to take two buses (3 hours) to Tripoli, making for a long travel day. We were greeted at the train station by Jillian's friend Katerina. She took us by her mom's house,  where we met her aunt and mom and enjoyed a delicious dessert. We then headed to Roula and Yai yai's house. George and Betsey were there too, so nice to visit and catch up! We visited for a while and then got ready to go out for a traditional Greek dinner. The food and company was amazing. We called it an early night and when we woke up Roula made breakfast and frappes for us. Delicious! We stayed at the house the whole day day which was full of day drinking, cards, and conversation. That night we headed into town for some gyros and drinks.  We only stayed out until 2:00AM  because we knew we had another long travel day ahead of us. We headed out early to catch our ferry to Mykonos....
